'Celebs gone good': Taylor Swift named most charitable celebrity of 2012 after $4M donation

Taylor Swift has been named the most charitable celebrity of 2012.
The 23-year-old country music darling was awarded the honour by DoSomething.org, which released its list of Top 20 Celebs Gone Good of 2012 this week.
According to the organisation, Taylor topped the list after donated $4million to the Country Hall of Fame museum.

She was also recognised for being the youngest recipient of the Ripple of Hope Award from the Robert F. Kennedy Center for her charity work.
Former Disney star-turned-wild child singer Miley Cyrus followed as the number two 'celeb gone good', according to the website.

Miley, 20, was recognised for her work with non-profit animal activist group Saving Spot! Rescue. The organisation finds homes for dogs in kill shelters.
The Can't Be Tamed singer has also worked with Save The Music Foundation, the Starkey Hearing Foundation and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Father-to-be Channing Tatum came in third. The Magic Mike star was acknowledged for his work with the Rainforest Foundation.

Born This Way: Lady Gaga, who started her own non-profit, the Born This Way Foundation, followed at fourth.

Justin Bieber rounded out the top five, honoured for his work with Pencils of Promise and his Believe Charity Drive.
Robin Roberts, Pink, LeBron James, Selena Gomez, Ian Somerhalder, Jay-Z and Beyonce, George Takei, Ben Affleck, Emma Stone & Andrew Garfield, Ryan Seacrest, Demi Lovato, Carrie Underwood, Olivia Munn, Sofia Vergara and Drew Brees also made the list.
